A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week. – George S. Patton
Sometimes we make great the enemy of good. In our society, we have become conditioned to look for excellence and I agree we always want to strive for it. However, too often we are immobilized by looking to find the greatest or the best while good would be just enough.
We have to make decisions by looking at the situation and make a good decision and begin to execute it. If we have time for great, that’s awesome. But I cannot let it come at the expense of doing nothing.
